Room 3

Room 3 is a Year 1 and 2 class.

The teacher is Mrs Tonga.

Term 3 learning 2011

This term Room 3 children learned about Heroes. 

We learned to:

  • Understand that people have different roles and responsibilities as part of their participation in groups.

 

We Are Learning To: write about our family heroes.

My heroes are my mum, dad and my grandma. 

My mum is my hero because she looks after me.

My hero is my grandma because she cooks the steak for me.

My hero is my dad because he makes nice soup.  He takes me fishing in the weekends.  He can cook the fish too.  I love my heroes.

We Are Learning To: write about our family heroes.

My nana is my hero because she looks after me.  She listens to me when I read my book and she takes me to school every day.  My dad is my hero too because he goes to work every day and works hard so we can have some money for our shopping.

We Are Learning To: write about our Rugby Hero.

Sonny Bill Williams is my hero.  He trains well and plays rugby with his team the All Blacks.  I like Sonny Bill because he knows it is very important to work hard and be a responsible team member. I always watch how he plays and he is my role model.
