We Are Learning To: make a repetitive pattern using the skills of weaving.
Success Criteria: We know we have done a good job when we are using the right terms such as over and under when weaving to help us get the right pattern. When we have made the same pattern going again and again.
Siapo
We are learning to: make a Siapo
using patterns and symbols that represent who we are.
Success Criteria: we know we have done a good job when we can identify where we come from and which tapa represents our culture. We can say the names for the different tapa eg Hiapo, Siapo, or Ngatu. When we talk about our hobbies or what is important to us and use symbols or pictures to represent this.
