Room 9 is a Year 5 and 6 class.

Hello and welcome to the extraordinary work of room 9!
This term we have been learning a lot about ourselves and our cultures.
We studied many different cultures and learnt about the things that we have in common and the things that make our culture unique!
Through research and using our “Learning Centre” we built up knowledge of the topic and had great fun and enjoyment finding information.
This term we have also been learning a new game called FUTSAL!! And we love it! it originates from Brazil.

We had a competition to see who could write an essay in EXACTLY 50 words. The topic was “what have we been up to this year” it was a challenging exercise but fun as well here are some of our answers….
“It is sad to say goodbye to Wesley but we are all looking forward to learning new things at our new Intermediate schools. Most of us are going to the same school but some of us are going to different ones. Hopefully we can all keep in touch because we have made some really nice friends.”

Class work
This year I went to some of the tournaments and they were cool. We also went to Motat. Motat stands for museum of technology and transport. We went to the pools is well when we were at the pools we learnt unique stuff at the pools and they were fun.

What things that I liked doing this year….
This year I did a lot. We went to a school that had a swimming pool.
We got to swim there. We also got to go to Motat. We played
Games as well we played futsul. We made things about our cultures.
