Unfortunately  the cost of improving and maintaining the current  buildings is too expensive. We also need to have wheelchair access throughout the whole school.

Although it will be sad to see the old building go, it is also an exciting new beginning for Wesley.

The holidays have come and gone! I had a wonderful and warm family holiday in Perth. I believe it was lovely weather here, so hopefully everyone had a good break.

Look at our events to come so you know what is coming.

There are no hats in term 2 and 3. Uniforms are here if you need to buy one. We do have some used sweatshirts if you would like to take one of those.

This term will be all the planning for the new school. I wouldnt expect any action until next term.

Mid year reports will go out at the end of this term. You will notice they are the same as the end of year reports now.

We will be having parent meetings this term and hope to set up groups for Samoan, Tongan and Maori parents. It is really important that we are all working for the children, and that as a school we have an understanding of what parents want and expect.

Children’s work was displayed for parents to see and discuss with teachers. Thank you to all the parents and children who came. We will be having another evening next term to celebrate the learning from our new topic- “Our Cultures”
