We can strengthen student success by sharing the same vision of Be Respectful, Be Responsible and working in true partnership. Please connect with us by reading newsletters, notices, the website, our school facebook, attending parent meetings and communicating with us verbally.
ARK Project
The ARK project is an Act of Roskill Kindness based at Wēteri (Wesley) School that provides food assistance. It is a collective group of Roskill Champions working together to reach out to our vulnerable families in the Wēteri, Puketāpapa area.
Mana Health Clinic
We are lucky to have a Mana Health Clinic at Wesley Primary. Carly Edwards is our Public Health Nurse.
Carly provides a free of charge clinic for children of Wesley Primary, and for members of their family including babies, teenagers, parents and grandparents. The Mana Health Clinic is a base for the Before Five Checks. No appointments are necessary and free interpreters are available. You are welcome to make contact with Carly to talk through any health issues affecting you or your family. Parents are also encouraged and welcome to attend the clinic’s Advisory Group meetings, which are held once a term to share ideas for the clinic.
Carly can be contacted on 09 629 6550. We are also part of the Rheumatic Fever Throat swabbing progamme, which is very important to our children’s health.
SWIS- Social Worker in Schools
Dharmendra Lal is our Social Worker. If you need to contact him please feel free to contact the school office.

Wesley Kindergarten
We have been proud to support the establishment of Wesley Kindergarten on our school site facing O’Donnell Avenue. The kindergarten operates independently from the school and provides an excellent early childhood education for our children. Early Childhood Education is critical for student success. Children who attend kindergarten and early childhood programmes are well prepared with their early foundations of learning. Parents of young children are welcome to go to the kindergarten to ask about enrolment. Also, parents of kindergarten children are most welcome to visit our school.
Address: 26A O'Donnell Avenue, Mount Roskill

HIPPY
In 2002 our school entered a partnership with the Pacific Foundation to establish a HIPPY programme. Doreen Wakefield is the Full Time Coordinator and the Wesley HIPPY Centre is based in Room 1. HIPPY provides regular home-based tutoring for parents of children in the age range of 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 years. The parents then role-play sessions with their children to support their cognitive growth and skills development. Doreen is always available to meet with interested parents. When the HIPPY children approach their 5th Birthday we are pleased to arrange school and class visits for them.
